Promoter is shutting down permanently on May 15, 2018

I've started working on Promoter in 2010 as a tool for myself. One year later I opened it up for other game developers to use. Since then, my goal was to make Promoter a sustainable business. After 8 years, I'm sad to say that I failed to reach that goal. With too little revenue, server and maintenance costs too high, and the complexities of GDPR around the corner, it is no longer possible for me to run Promoter as a one person company.

On May 15, will permanently shut down and all account and user data will be deleted. All paid subscriptions will be automatically cancelled. You'll be able to use the service under your current subscription plan and export your data until May 14. Reviews and mentions, awards, contacts, press requests and sites can be downloaded as CSV. The festival deadlines can be exported as ICS. If you need to export any other data, or have any other questions please email me.

This was a very hard decision for me to make. I've always enjoyed working on Promoter over any other project. I'm very thankful for every customer who has used the service in the past.
